Why We Charge VAT

To comply with UK tax regulations, DesignMyNight is required to collect and remit Value-added-Tax (VAT) on booking fees charged to customers and/or absorbed into the ticket price.

Our service to you as an Event Organiser is charged to you in the form of a booking fee. As we are a UK VAT registered business, we are obligated to charge VAT on top of the booking fee that we collect.

If you are UK VAT registered with HMRC, you can then claim back this VAT charged to you as part of your quarterly VAT return with HMRC.
